Sub-orders · The split·Stage 1 of 4

One cart in. One sub-order per supplier out.

The retailer confirms one cart at the final price. Madana splits it into one sub-order per supplier, each carrying that supplier's per-retailer prices and terms, and checks stock and credit before anyone picks a box.

What happens

  • 01

    The final price first

Discounts and tax computed on the cart; the invoice will show the same numbers.

  • 02

    One sub-order per supplier

Each supplier receives only their lines, at their prices and terms for this retailer.

  • 03

    Stock checked at confirmation

An out-of-stock offer never makes it into a sub-order.

  • 04

    Credit checked at the order

A sub-order over the limit, or with an overdue cheque behind it, is held for the supplier's decision, not silently shipped.

Who does what

The supplier

  • Sees only their own sub-order, never the rest of the cart
  • Decides on a held sub-order: release, reduce or wait for the cheque
  • Prices and terms applied automatically; reps cannot override them

The retailer

  • Orders from fourteen suppliers in one confirm
  • Sees every sub-order's status on one screen from the first second
  • Knows a hold immediately, not at delivery

What it records

Every event on the sub-order is timestamped and visible to both sides. Nothing lives in a voice note.

  1. Placed: who confirmed, when, at which prices
  2. Held, released or reduced: by whom and why
  3. The credit position of the retailer at that moment
